Somewhere between brushstrokes, and lesson plans, kneaded clay and whispered prayers, I found my calling…not just as an artist or educator, but as a pilgrim in pursuit of the sacred.

My studio and classroom have become more than spaces of learning – they often become sanctuaries where truth, goodness, and beauty quietly unfold in the hearts of the young, and my own soul.

Guided by the radiant wisdom of St. John Paul II’s Letter to Artists and the Theology of the Body, I’ve come to see art not simply as expression, but as encounter – a sacred meeting place between the human and the divine. In every creative moment, there lies the possibility of communion, of seeing and being seen through the loving gaze of the Creator.

This is the heart of Artful Epiphanies, that through every line drawn, colour chosen, and image revealed, a child may awaken to wonder and remember who he is: an icon of infinite beauty. My hope is that each little artist I accompany might experience not just joy in creating, but an artful epiphany – a glimpse of heaven breaking gently into their world.
